Like so many other jewelry designers, I hoard beads. It��s compulsive - when I see something I really like, I just have to buy it. Sometimes these beads sit in drawers and boxes for the longest time. They patiently wait for THE idea, and for their time to meet the world.
This laughing Buddha has been in my possession since 7 or 8 years - high time for him to shine.

The design for this bracelet took shape when I was sorting out some books. I came across a book my daughter and I used as inspiration to draw and color in Mandala��s when she was a little girl. That made me think of Buddhism too, and eventually my little carved amethyst Laughing Buddha came into the picture.

The focal circle in this bracelet is about 35mm (1 3/8��) in diameter, without the dangles.

Gemstones used include: peridot, garnet, agate (different colors), turquoise, lapis lazuli, coral, citrine, jade, amethyst, aventurine, green onyx, rhodolite, rhodochrosite.
Length of the bracelet: 17cm to 21cm- 6 ?�� to 8 ?��

All metal used is brass.

To extend the life of this unique jewelry, please do not bring in contact with oils, perfume, acid etc.

Skull Bracelet Buddha Bracelet Stone Bracelet Set Stack Bracelets - Houston

This pair of skull bracelet and buddha bracelet encapsulates the paradox that there is a bit of sinner and saint in all of us. They are fun and edgy and can complement a wide variety of other arm candies you may have. Wear the skull and buddha together or keep one and give the other to your best friend/boyfriend/girlfriend. :)

The skull bracelet ("sinner") comes with black and white dalmatian jaspers finished with a gold plated pewter skull. The buddha bracelet ("saint") comes with iridescent labradorites and a gold plated buddha charm. Both bracelets are finished with 14kt gold filled jumbo clasps.

Since the buddha is usually associated with Eastern religions and the skull with Western pirates, we decided to name this set after New York's Houston (pronounced "houseton") Street that runs from East to West across lower Manhattan.

This listing is for BOTH the skull bracelet and the buddha bracelet. I can make them in different sizes if you would like to give one away as a present. Please not if the length is above 8 inches, there will be a small price difference. Please convo me for more details! :)
